Put these details in your email. They help us find the problem faster:
- The app you use: PlentyLabs in the browser, Figma, Canva or After Effects
- The email address of your PlentyLabs account
- What you did, what you expected, and what happened
- The exact error message, or a screenshot. If the message has an error number, include it.

Common questions
Do I need a PlentyLabs account?
Yes. The Figma plugin, the Canva app and the After Effects panel all connect to a PlentyLabs account, and the account must be a member of at least one workspace. You can sign up here. Every plan starts with a free trial.
Do I type my PlentyLabs password into Figma, Canva or After Effects?
No. In Figma and After Effects, you approve a short pairing code in your browser. In Canva, you sign in through Canva's own connection window, and Canva keeps the connection for you.
Where do my assets go?
To the PlentyLabs workspace you pick in the app. You can change the workspace at any time. If you choose a board, the asset also goes on that board.
Why does an app ask me to connect again?
In Figma and After Effects, a connection ends after a week without use. Connect again and carry on. Your work is not affected. In Canva, Canva renews the connection for you. If it still ends, for example because you revoked it, the app asks you to connect again.
How do I remove an app's access to my account?
Sign in to PlentyLabs and open Settings, then Your account. Under Connected apps, click Revoke next to the app. The Figma plugin and the After Effects panel lose access straight away. The Canva app loses access within an hour. Each guide also explains how to disconnect from inside the app.
What can a connected app do?
It acts as you. It can read the assets and boards in the workspaces you belong to, and it can add assets. It cannot open your account settings, your password, billing, or admin tools.
