How PlentyLabs Protects Your Generative Workflows

Securing the AI Creative Stack

To solve security concerns across marketing tech and creative software workflows, PlentyLabs builds security into the platform itself, with a focus on asset integrity, data privacy and control over generative AI.

Below is how it works across four pillars.

Generative AI Safety & Content Integrity

With AI-generated creative, the main risks are output safety and IP protection. PlentyLabs reduces them through:

  • Prompt & Asset Isolation

Your prompts, brand assets and generations stay in your workspace. Every request is checked against that workspace before any data is returned, and automated tests cover every permission.

  • No Model Training on Your Content

We use paid commercial API tiers and never opt in to model-improvement programs. Anthropic, OpenAI, Google and fal.ai have confirmed your content is not used for training, and you can switch off any other provider.

  • Workspace AI Policies

Admins set which AI models and vendors are allowed and which prompt terms are blocked. Every blocked or flagged generation is logged.

  • Origin Tracking

Every upload's origin is recorded, so admins can review it and record usage rights before it goes into a campaign.

Infrastructure & Data Protection

Defense in depth protects the stack against unauthorized access and leaks:

  • Encryption Everywhere

Stored data uses AES-256 encryption at rest, and all traffic uses TLS encryption in transit, plus HSTS and secure cookies. Ad account credentials get an extra AES-256-GCM layer with per-integration keys, and passwords are hashed with scrypt.

  • Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)

Four roles (Owner, Admin, Member and Guest), with permissions owners can fine-tune per workspace. Guests only see the sessions they are invited to.

  • Single Sign-On (SSO) & MFA

OIDC SSO works with Okta, Entra ID, Google Workspace and Keycloak, limited to verified email domains. Workspaces can require SSO, MFA or both.

  • Controlled Staff Access

Staff have no seats in your workspace. Support access needs a time-limited grant with a stated reason, at most 24 hours and read-only if needed, and every grant appears in your audit log.

Threat Mitigation & Operational Security

Protection covers the application, the code and the people who run the platform:

  • WAF & Rate Limiting

A Web Application Firewall (WAF) blocks common attacks such as SQL injection and cross-site scripting (XSS), and rate limits on sensitive actions prevent API abuse.

  • Append-Only Audit Logging

Policy and role changes, ad platform publishes, blocked generations and staff access go to an append-only audit trail that owners and admins can review.

  • Code & Dependency Scanning

CodeQL scans the full codebase nightly, every code change is checked for leaked credentials, and dependencies are monitored continuously and updated weekly.

  • Fixed Remediation Times

Fix deadlines are set by severity, with critical issues fixed or mitigated within 24 hours.

Compliance & Privacy Alignment

Built for enterprise buyers:

  • EU Data Residency

Your data, projects and media are stored and processed in the EU, including back-ups, logs, analytics and AI tracing. AI generation runs at the model providers your workspace allows.

  • EU AI Act Ready

AI-generated assets carry IPTC provenance metadata, and images also get an invisible watermark that survives re-encoding and screenshots. Visible AI labels are a workspace setting, and anyone can check a file for free at plentylabs.com/ai-detection, without uploading it.

  • Data Privacy (GDPR)

Users can delete their account in the app at any time, including all uploaded and generated media. A Data Processing Agreement (DPA) is available.

  • Transparent Sub-processors

Every third-party provider is documented with the data it receives and where, and the register is available on request.
