# API and MCP terms

Plenty Labs’ API/MCP Terms (the “Terms”)

Plenty Labs may provide certain of its Services (as defined in an applicable license agreement between you and Plenty Labs, the “Agreement”) via application programming interface(s) (API(s)) and/or model context protocol(s) (MCP(s)).

You, “the Customer”, may access and use Plenty Labs’ Services in the Platform (as defined in the Agreement) via API and/or MCP to the extent, and for the purposes, expressly set out in the Agreement, subject to your compliance with these Terms.

In these Terms, “API” includes Plenty Labs’ API and MCP server and any related endpoints and tools made available by Plenty Labs, and “API Key” includes any key, token or other credential issued by Plenty Labs for access to the API and MCP. All references to the API and the API Key, and the Customer’s rights, obligations and restrictions relating to them, apply equally to the MCP.

By accessing Plenty Labs’ API you hereby acknowledge and agree that:

- You may not use the same API Key for any other use or application than as permitted under the Agreement, nor may you sell, transfer, sub-license or otherwise permit a third party to use any API Key.
- You shall keep the API Key(s) secure and confidential, and you are solely responsible for all actions taken with the API Key.
- You must at all times use the latest version of the API as provided by Plenty Labs.
- You shall implement the API in accordance with the API documentation made available by Plenty Labs.
- Plenty Labs may suspend or throttle your access to the API at any time immediately and without notice if Plenty Labs determines in its reasonable discretion: (a) that Customer’s use of the API poses a risk to Plenty Labs or to the security, functioning or stability of the API; or (b) that the provision of the API to you is prohibited under applicable law or regulation.

Except to the extent expressly permitted by mandatory applicable law, the Customer shall not, and shall not permit any third party to: (i) reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code, object code, underlying structure, ideas, know-how, or algorithms relevant to the API; (ii) modify, translate, or create derivative works based on the API; (iii) interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the API or the data contained therein; (iv) attempt to gain unauthorized access to the API or its related systems or networks, or circumvent any security or authentication measures (including the API Key restrictions); or (v) access or use the API for the purpose of developing, marketing, or selling a competing product or service. You undertake not to block or otherwise circumvent any mechanisms in place through the API that inter alia reports to Plenty Labs how its assets are used.

**Disclaimer.** PLENTY LABS DOES NOT MAKE ANY WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, REGARDING ANY API OR MCP, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. PLENTY LABS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES, COSTS OR LOSSES ARISING OUT OF OR AS A RESULT OF MODIFICATIONS MADE TO ANY API OR MCP BY CUSTOMER OR COMBINATION OF ANY API OR MCP WITH THIRD-PARTY CONTENT.
